Bigger rims for my RK1

Hi everyone, I am considering putting a set of 18" rims on my RK1 but would like to have a few things clarified before doing so. Wonder if any of the C.Hings here can help:
1) Is the original suspension able to handle 18" rims? If not, what do I need to do to the suspension?
2) Will bigger rims increase the overall height of the car? If so, by how much?
3) How much more gas consumption and road vibration / noise should I expect as compared to running on the original 15" rims?
4) Any good rims / wheel vendors to recommend?
Thanks in advance for your help?
Bought and installed a set of 18" Sport Technic Mono10 Vision Black Finish!

I was having breakfast alone yesterday and there was a tire shop nearby. The shop doesn't carry a lot of rims and most of them are 19"+ and premium brands. There was this set of Sport Technic that I spotted and the owner told me that it was their last set. I wasn't so sure how it will look on my car so the owner asked me to drive the car to his shop. We had the car jacked up and tried putting on a couple of rims including the BBS's and OZs just for fun. The black finish of the Sport Technic blends in well with the car of my RK1 so without too much second thought I bought the rims together with a set of Goodyear tires. So a very boring breakfast alone turned out to be a rim-purchase event - something really out of my expectation. Maybe this is what life is all about!

I am very happy with how my car looks now. There seems to be less road noise with the GY tires. Additional vibration is noticable but only to a bearable extent.

I am never a "rim-changing" person and would like to share this interesting moment with my Stepwgn fellows!
