hm...50/50.....i think it last very long if u maintain it well . say replace HMMF
CVT fuild every 2 years.....or even once a year in extreme condition.

but there are many CVT broke down so far in hk in last 10 years, bmw mini, benz A class, civic EK, jazz...........

and the real figure in our club.

1 x 2.4 CVT broke down last year
0 x 2.0 4AT broke down  so far

CVT may have better protection the engine

but a 2.4 CVT had died , the owner told me...

though, both are ok if they r  in proper maintaintence way.
