次期フィットはリアビューが印象的

ホンダの看板車種に成長したフィットが2013年秋までに3代目に生まれ変わる。ハイブリッド仕様にデュアルクラッチミッションが搭載されるなど、漏れ伝わる情報だけでも期待は高まる。今回はデザイン面の情報をお届けしよう。

グローバルカーの立ち位置にますます拍車がかかる次期フィットは、リアビューで存在感を打ち出す。内部事情に詳しい関係者に話を聞いたところ、ボルボ車を彷彿とさせる後ろ姿が与えられるようだ。

スクープ班で予想をたてた想像図が写真左のイラストだ。デザイン面のキーとなりそうなのがリアコンビランプ。ランプ下半分は歴代モデル（写真右上下）同様、ウエストラインから外に向かって張り出す台形モチーフに設計。しかし、これだけでは新鮮味がない。そこで前述のボルボ車という話が浮上してくるのだ。

リアコンビランプは、ずばりバックウインドウに沿うようにピラーを駆け上がるようなデザインとなるのではないだろうか。いまどきのコンパクトカーには見られないリッチなリアビューとなりそうだ。また、バックウインドウ下には、ブラックガーニッシュ（装飾パーツ）を追加。ワンクラス上のCセグメントカーに負けない存在感とクオリティがもたらされるだろう。

そんな次期フィットで最も販売台数が期待される1.3Lエンジンには、新世代の技術である「アースドリームテクノロジー」が採用される。車体の軽量化や現行モデルのガソリン車には未設定のアイドリングストップ機構を追加することで、燃費はデミオ スカイアクティブ（JC08モード25.0km/L）を超えてくるはずだ。
